As the name implies, this amazingly large 2 1/2 bathroom suite is located on the second floor of the main building. Perfect for large groups and families, the expansive common areas have room for all with beautiful balcony, living room and dining room. The master bedroom has a king bed and balcony overlooking the gardens. The other bedrooms have A/C; 1 room with 1 queen bed and 2 rooms with 2 twin beds each. Although Tamarindo is a well developed town with plenty of amenities to choose from, Hotel Capitan Suizos is more isolated on Tamarindo Beach outside the town at the end of the bay. The beach in Tamarindo Bay has a gentler tide for swimming, boogie boarding and watersports. Like most North Pacific beaches, it is deep and expansive with yellow sand.

Swimming Pool

Hotel Capitan Suizo has a very nicely sized freeform swimming pool. It is solar heated and clean with a spacious pool deck surrounding it.

Restaurant and Bar

The open air beachfront restaurant offers a delightful menu of European cuisine with tropical influence. Items are a la carte with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Periodically, guests are entertained with marimba music and folkloric groups. Depending on the season, the hotel hosts beach BBQ's. You can also request private beach candle light dinners during the dry season.

The stand alone spa at Capitan Suizo has a wide array of treatments to choose from: including massages, exfoliations, wraps, facials, mani-pedis and waxing. Massage services include deep tissue, couples, aromatherapy, hot stone and bamboo. Most massages take place on the second floor balcony where you can enjoy fresh air, birds singing in the gardens and the sound of the ocean waves.
