Waterfall Rappelling

Waterfall rappelling in Costa Rica is a high adventure activity which requires an emphasis on safety. Your tour guides and equipment are critical for ensuring a safer experience. It should be undertaken by those with a good degree of stamina and physical strength. We do not recommend this for the faint of heart or for those with a fear of heights.

The tour begins with equipment fitting, safety instructions and a "practice run" with a 15 foot waterfall. As you move through the canyon, you rappell down the face of 5 waterfalls in a rock climbing harness on belay. Portions of the canyon are less than 5 feet wide. The final waterfall is over 200 feet high.

Not for everyone, eco-adventurers will love the exhileration of descending through water crashing down around them.
