Tortuga Island Cruise

Tortuga Island is a small Island on the West side of the Gulf of Nicoya on the Central Pacific Coast. It features a beautiful white sand beach that is safe for swimming and snorkeling, beautiful views and a small rainforest. A day at Tortuga Island is the perfect day at the beach.

Ride a comfortable, safe and stable motorized Catamaran about 90 minutes from Puntarenas to Tortuga Island and see the dramatic coastline and other islands along the way. Dolphins and sea birds often play alongside the boat and you might see Manta Rays, turtles and whales.

When you arrive at Tortuga, you’ll walk down a ramp onto the beach itself, and then enjoy about 4 hours at the island. Swim, snorkel, kayak, play volleyball or ride a waverunner or banana boat.  Then enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch (with white tablecloths and wine!) under the shady trees along the beach.

After lunch and some more time at the beach, you’ll return to Puntarenas on your catamaran.  Return to your hotel happy and rested after one of the best beach days in Costa Rica.
